Every student want to Know How to prepare for IIT JEE 2016 is a very tough question! but in this article, I will share my experience and steps I took that helped me secure a good All India Rank on the IIT JEE/IIT JEE Main. For your information I took the JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2014 (the new format).
Everyone out there preparing for IIT JEE 2016
should be clear that JEE Main and Advanced are two entirely different exams.
The JEE Main was previously called AIEEE, and is the first stage exam for the
IIT JEE. Also You can learn online and free consulting facility available for
Best IIT JEE Coaching Delhi.
To excel in the JEE Main 2016 exam you need to
improve your speed i.e. you need to maximize the number of questions that you
solve in a fixed amount of time. In the JEE Advanced 2016, questions are tough.
These questions not only test your concepts but also the conclusions you draw
from the theorems or results that you have studied. In IIT JEE Coaching Delhi.
Preparing
for both the exams is surely a difficult thing but it all depends on how you
manage your time. The key for this planning is to first set some long-term
goals and then set up short-term goals which will help you keep track of those
goals. If you find it hard to set up these goals (I did find it hard as most of
us don’t have any idea of the topics) then do the planning later on, when you
believe you have a fair enough idea of the topics and their difficulty. Now,
after all this planning you should start with your preparation.

Some
problems that most of us face during prep time:
- You may find things boring and would start to lose interest in the topic, but remember these topics will fetch you marks in the JEE exam. Take help of your friends who are good at that topic. After all, you have to study those topics.
- Some of us are good in some subjects and bad in others, like I was weak in maths during the initial months of 11th class. We all have to work on those subjects and strengthen them. I was helped by my friends and most of all my maths teacher . By the time of our IIT JEE Coaching exams it had become one of my strongest topics. Similarly you should also find mentors and a teacher cum guide who will help you out during your preparation.
- Do take out time for your hobbies as they act as a source of recreation for you.
Some
books I would suggest you refer to (Again,
you don’t need to read them all but one or two as you see fit. But, whatever
book you choose at least read that book completely. Discuss this with you
online tutor(free consultant facility) on Exceliit(http://www.exceliit.com/) too:
- All your NCERT books (Remember, these books help develop your basics and build a strong foundation.)
- H C Verma (Physics, Two Volumes)
- S N Sanyal (Organic Chemistry, All the important chemical reactions and their mechanisms are consolidated in this book)
- For Maths you can buy books by Arihant Publishers (these books are for your practice)
